Recently in the month of August 2023, we have reworked on the learning paths on codedamn. As users who purchased the learning path, this might have brought a few doubts in your minds. Let us help you navigate through and solve every query one by one.

I purchased learning path but I cannot see it anymore as a purchasable item on codedamn, why?

Since 16 May 2023, We’ve decided to make things simpler and better for all our learners by only keeping pro membership sales on the platform. This way, we can put more time and effort into making our courses and learning experience even better. We’re working hard to give you a more custom-fit learning experience via learning paths included in pro membership, so you can reach your goals faster.

Thus, you would not be able to see learning paths solely as a purchasable item on codedamn but as an offering bundled in pro subscription.

I purchased a learning path, but I got pro membership for a while, why?

For a short while, you had been given pro subscription on your account for the purchase of the learning path because we were migrating our access infrastructure to include support for learning paths. During this transition, there was a chance for loss of access for the courses on the platform and therefore, to compensate this, we had added pro subscription (as an addition, this wasn’t part of the purchase you’ve made) to ensure continued access.

Now that we have a proper infrastructure in place, the pro subscription has been removed. You now have access to all the courses that are part of the learning path which you purchased.

I have received a cancellation email, should I be worried?

If you’ve received a cancellation email, no need to worry. It is regarding the additional pro membership that was added to your account. This does not affect your access to courses in the learning path that you have purchased.

What is the new customisable learning path on codedamn?

Every single learning path on codedamn is now personalized to your learning style. This means you can attach courses and projects you’re currently doing on codedamn, and your progress tracking would automagically appear on the learning path page.

On any learning path, simply hover over the node and click on the pencil icon on the top right. You should now be able to customize your path according to your needs.

You can also request for a personalisation on any learning path of your choice, and we will custom-tailor the learning path by hand, for your needs.
