In JavaScript, promises are used to handle asynchronous operations. When dealing with several asynchronous activities, where callbacks might cause callback hell and unmanageable code, they are simple to manage.

We all know that JavaScript is synchronous, which means it contains an event loop that allows you to queue up an action that won’t happen until the loop becomes available after the code that queued the action has completed processing.
However, there are a number of features in our software that make our code asynchronous, one of which is the Async/Await capabilities. Async/Await is an extension of promises, which we get as a language feature.

Async function
It simply allows us to create promises-based code as if it were synchronous, while also ensuring that the execution thread is not broken. The event loop allows it to work asynchronously. A value is always returned by async functions. It ensures that a promise is returned, and if it isn’t, JavaScript wraps it in a promise that is resolved with the promise’s value.

The await function is used to wait for the promise to be fulfilled. It could only be used in the async block. It forces the code to wait for the promise to return a result. It does nothing but makes the async block wait.

It’s worth noting that the console prints two before “Codedamn.” This is because the await keyword is used.
Example: In this example, we’ll use a method to implement numerous promises, and then we’ll utilize that way to display our results.
